Abstract
Theculture conflict theory, put forward by Samuel P. Huntington, has been widely concerned and doubted in the academic circles. Correspondingly. Dieter Senghaas, a Germany scholar, put forward the internal culture conflict theory. He made a historical research to the different great civilizations in the world, compared them in the coordinate of the process of modernization, and thus put the western culture and non-western culture in the same position on theinternal culture conflict. This can be considered a breakthrough to the tendency of the transition of human culture from conflict to harmony. The thesis attempts to compare the two theories from the perspective of paradigm study, and give an objective evaluation to their academic influences.
