Abstract
Batch static test was used to research the effect of pretreating Liujiang River raw water by promoted oxidation of hydrogen peroxide and three kinds of catalyst(ferrous sulfate, ferric chloride and hydration manganese dioxide),and the possibility of whether coagulation effect of ferrous sulfate and ferric chloride can replace PAC was also simultaneously investigated. The results of this test indicated that the pretreatment with promoted oxidation of hydrogen peroxide and catalyst for Liujiang River raw water was good for removal of turbidity,UV_(254) and TOC.The coagulation effect of ferrous sulfate and ferric chloride was good, but they can not replace PAC.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
