Analyzing the Relationship between Higher Education and Economic Growth in Guangxi

Abstract

Based on the data from 1978 to 2006,we tested the causality between higher education and economic growth of Guangxi.The causality test results showed that the development of higher education in Guangxi promoted real economic growth,and the real economic growth enhanced the rate of higher education.Higher education and economic growth in Guangxi improved each other.There exists a long-term equilibrium relationship between higher education development and economic growth.
