Experience of the three surgical methods for pterygium

Objective To discuss the effect of the three surgical methods for pterygium. Methods Simple excision for pterygium in first group;combined excision of pterygium with amniotic membrane auto-graft transplantation in second group;combined excision of pterygium with limbal cells auto-graft transplantation in third group. Results All the case were followed up for average 12 m,recurrence rate was 20.85% in first group;4.89% in second group;3.23% in third group. Conclusion Technique of surgical treatment of pterygium of stem cell transplantation of limbal cell is effective,has lower recurrent rate.
