On application of punitive compensation to personal injury compensation system

The right to life,health,physical power is the most important personal rights as well as the major content of human rights,and the foundation for citizens' enjoyment of other rights.The current personal injury compensation is one fold compensation which falls short of the purpose of punishment,prevention,containment of such illegal activities and which is inadequate for the victim.Punitive compensation can make up the limitation of compensatory compensation.Therefore,it is recommended that punitive compensation should be applied to personal injury compensation system,and the application conditions and compensation standards are also mentioned to improve the system so as to protect personal rights of citizens more effectively.
