Punitive compensation of application to environment infringement

Abstract

Punitive compensation is that the injuring person pays the injured one more compensation than the value being damaged.Punitive compensation is not only to have compensatory effect but also to have preventive and punitive effects.Environmental infringement is a special civil tort.If we deal with environmental infringement by the principle of parity compensation,it can't reach the goal to compensate the injured person.So more limited punitive compensation should be done besides parity compensation.
