Abstract
The effecting of heat treatment on mechanical properties of TC4 alloy was studied.The results show that heat treat- ment and the resulting microstructure have a signicicent effect on mechanical properties of TC4 alloy. The α+βmicrostructure is characterized by high tensile properties and low fracture toughness, while βmicrostructure is characterized by high fracture tough- ness and fatigue property.
