Abstract

This paper probes into the historical conditions for the rise of groups of writers from same families in Zhejiang and its neighboring areas in the Song Dynasty (960-1279), and, by presenting the information about important writers from the Qian, Lu and Lu Families, it reveals how significant roles the writers akin have played in the development of literary history.
