The Inheritance and Change of Taoyuan Motif in the Poetry of Song Dynasty

Both Northern Song and Southern Song saw the high tide of TAO Yuan-ming's poetic works being accepted.The love and worship of scholars in Song Dynasty for TAO Yuan-ming and his works were unprecedented,so to speak.They went beyond Southern and Northern Dynasty,Sui Dynasty and Tang Dynasty,and ran through the two Song dynasties.The scholars in Song Dynasty made an all-round,multi-plane and multi-perspective interpretation of The Poetic Account of Taohuayuan.Apart from drawing on large numbers of Taoyuan quotations,the scholars in the two Song dynasties created numerous Taoyuan-motif poems.Compared with the poems in previous dynasties,these poems not only bear the marks of inheritance,but also show many changes.
