Abstract
Objective To explore the risk factors associated with craniotomy intracranial infection,providing references for clinical prevention and control of intracranial infection.Methods A total of 1356 patients that underwent cranial surgery were chosen,and the rate and the risk factors of intracranial infection were analyzed.Results ① There were 70 infection cases,the infection rate being 5.16%.Univariate analysis showed that the rates of hot season,senility,pollution surgery,prolonged surgery(≥4 h),two plus operations in a short term,postoperative cerebrospinal fluid leakage,prolonged ventricular drainage,emergency surgery were higher in the observation group than in the control group(P0.05).② Multivariate Logistic analysis showed that prolonged surgery(≥4 h),two plus operations in a short term,postoperative cerebrospinal fluid leakage,prolonged ventricular drainage were risk factors of craniotomy intracranial infection.Conclusion Long time surgery(≥4 h),two plus operations in a short term,postoperative cerebrospinal fluid leakage,prolonged ventricular drainage are craniotomy intracranial infection risk factors.Positive countermeasures should be taken in clinical practice.
