Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical distribution and drug resistane of Acinetobacter baumannii in order to provide references for rational use of antibiotics in the clinic.Method The characteristics of infection and drug resistance of 150 strains of Acinetobacter baumannii, which were isolated from clinic wards, were analyzed retrospectively. The susceptibility was tested by Kirby-Bauer method. Results The most location of Acinetobacter baumannii were ICU and department of respiratory disease. The isolation rate of respiratory samples were the highest(71.2%),and that of surgical wound were 13.5%.Acinetobacter baumanii had the highest susceptibility to meropenem, the resistant rate was 5.7%,followed by imipenem(8.9%) and cefoperazone-sulbactam(17.7%).It had higher degree of drug resistance rates to the other antibacterials, and had higher multidrug-resistantce.Conclusions It is helpful for the maintaining of antibacterial activity of sensitive antibacterials to reinforce the monitoring on the drug resistance of Acinetobacter baumanii and to standardize the application of antibacterials.
