Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical significamce of cervical atypical squamous cells(ASCUS).Method The ASCUS cytology patients were with high-risk human papillomavirus(HR-HPV) DNA testing.HR-HPV-positive group and HR-HPV-negative group were observed. Both groups were carried out colposcopic biopsy to diagnose based on histology, comparison of the differences in the incidence of CIN between HR-HPV-positive group and negative group. Results In 217 cases of ASCUS,the results of HR-HPV positive were 134 cases(61.6%),HR-HPV-negative 83 cases(38.2%),the incidence of CIN were 30.6% and 7.2%(P 0.05).Conclusion The patients with ASCUS should be with HR-HPV DNA testing, the HR-HPV-positive should be with biopsy under colposcopy, the HR-HPV-negative should be followed up,in order to early detect cervical pre-cancerous lesions and cervical cancer.
