Abstract
Objective To study the B-type plasma brain natriuretic peptide( BNP) level changes after the initial onset of acute myocardial infarction( AMI).Methods A total of 115 primary AMI patients were selected to determine the plasma BNP level,LVEF and LVIDd in 24 h,and in accordance with the elevation of ST,the 115 cases were divided into STEMI group and NSTEMI group, and STEMI were subdivided into different groups according to infarction location. All AMI patients were divided into emergency reperfusion group and non-emergency reperfusion group.According to the coronary angiography results, all these cases were divided into single vessel disease group, double vessel disease group, triple vessel disease group and left main coronary disease group.BNP level and the above parameters were compared among groups. Results BNP increased significantly in AMI patients, but there was no difference between STEMI group and NSTEMI group.AMI patients undergoing emergency PCI and drug intravenous thrombolytic therapy had lower BNP level than that of non-emergency reperfusion group( P 0.05).BNP level from high to low was Triple vessel disease or left main coronary disease group, double vessel disease group, single vessel disease group( P 0.01).Conclution BNP is helpful to evaluate the severity of primary acute myocardial infarction coronary lesion.
