On Improving Antidumping Law after China's Joining WTO

The paper discussed the important role of the antidumping measure in the competition of international trade market and analyzed the development trend of its exertion in the other countries. In the meantime, the situation was analyzed that China faces the converging attack in the conflict between dumping and antidumping. On the one hand, China's export productions are gradually becoming the main target of the world antidumping. On the other hand, the domestic market is suffering from the violent impact of the foreign dumping productions. According to the situation China is facing in international trade, the suggestions about improving China's antidumping law were presented in this paper. First, the rising trend that China is antidumped in the international market need to be checked, decreased and prevented. Secondly, China's antidumping law construction, including the foundation of the antidumping laws and regulations system, the integrity of the antidumping organization and the improvement of the consciousness about antidumping law, is actively enhanced.
