Abstract
Objective:Exploring the effect of Danlong Dingchuan Decoction(DDD)on expressions of TGF-β1 and airway remodeling in asthmatic mice.Methods:56 SPF Balb/c mice were randomly divided into normal group,model group,western medicine group,DDD group.The three groups were established asthmatic model in mice allergized with OVA except normal group.At the 41~69days in the experiment,the normal and model group were treated with normal saline.Meanwhile,the western medicine group,DDD group were respectively given Dexamethasone and DDD.At the end of experiment,we observed the pathomorphological change in lung issues and took the sample blood to detect TGF-β1 with the way of ELISA.Results:The pathological changes in lung tissue showed that DDD could significantly reduce the infiltration of inflammatory cells and inhibited bronchial smooth muscle thickened.The level of TGF-β1 of model group was significantly increased compared with the normal group(P0.01).In western medicine group and DDD group,the content of TGF-β1 were significantly decreased(P0.01),and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:DDD can decrease the content of TGF-β1 and suppress airway remodeling in asthmatic mice.
