Abstract

Objective: To investigate the application effects of the negative pressure puncturing which was used to the superficial vein indwelling needle puncturing for the poor condition of the vein among gerontal patients. Methods: Sixty-eight patients were selected as the experimental group and the control group by self-contrasted method. The time of puncturing was 68.The patients in the control group underwent the method of the routine detained needle puncture. The patients in the experimental group underwent the method of the negative pressure detained puncture tube using folded infusion tube. The clinical data were compared between the two groups. Results: The successful ratio of the first puncturing between the two groups had statistical difference(P0.01).The blood returning time and returning ratio of the puncturing had differences(P0.01).The effects of the puncturing had differences,too(P0.05).Conclusion: The negative pressure puncturing can obviously improve the successful rate and the effects of puncture tube by folded infusion tube for the poor condition of the vein among gerontal patients.
