Abstract
Based on the slag composition of three blast furnace slags, samples are prepared by analytical reagent, the content and basicit of Al2O3 and MgO are changed respectively, and find an influence rule of the single change of content and basicit on sample viscosity and melting temperature by experiments to provide a reference for the high-alumina ore smelting slag system. The research shows that: when Al2O3 content is between the range 15% and 19%,with the increase of MgO content, the slag sample viscosity is decreased, however, the melting temperature is decreased firstly and then increased. With the increase of Al2O3 content, the viscosity and melting temperature of slag are increased. When the content of magnesia and alumina is in the same, viscosity and melting temperature of basicity 1.2 slag are greater than that of basicity 1.1 slag.
