Abstract
Based on the conditions of raw materials and smelting in Tangshan Iron Steel Group Co.,Ltd,the influences of MgO and(CaO/SiO_2)on the viscosity and melting temperature of BF slag have been studied,aiming at prioiding a theoretical guideline for optimizing the BF slag making in the plant.It is found that,with slag basicity of 1.10~1.20,MgO content of 10%~12% and Al_2O_3 ≯14%,better smelting result of BF can be attained.The suitable value of slag basicity and MgO content are also analyzed.
