Comfortable nursing on postoperative patients with lumbar disc herniation

Abstract

Objective To explore the method and effectiveness of the comfortable nursing on postoperative recovery of patients with lumbar disc herniation.Methods 106 patients in Qingdao Orthopedics and Traumatology Hospital who were received operative intervention were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 53 cases in each group.Patients of control group were performed traditional care,whereas the observation group received comfort able nursing.Finally,the degree of comfort and satisfaction of two groups were compared.Results There were significant differences between observation group and control group in terms of comfort degree including bed comfort,pain,constipation and irritable(P 0.05).There was a significant difference between two groups in satisfaction degree,as the observation group was 96.23% and the control group was 69.81%(P 0.05).Conclusion The application of comfortable nursing for lumbar disc herniation can distinctly improve the patients' comfortable degree,promote the rehabilitation,enhance the quality of care and improve the nurse-patient relationship.
