Clinical analysis of mifepristone and jianfuwan for the treatment of perimenopausal patients with dysfuncaltional uterine bleeding

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of mifepristone and jianfuwan in the treatment of perimenopausal patients with dysfuncaltional uterine bleeding.Methods Eight four perimenopausal patients with dysfuncaltional uterine bleeding were randomly divided into two groups.The control group(n=41)was treated with norethindrone for 3 menstrual cycles,and the treatment group(n=43)was treated with mifepristone and jianfuwan for 3 months.Results After the above mentioned therapy the total effective rates of treatment group and control group were 97.7% and 87.8% respectively.The recurrence rates of treatment group and control group were 4.8% and 16.7% respectively.Both the total effective rate and recurrence rate in treatment group and control group were significantly different.In addition,the hemoglobin and thickness of endometrium were significantly changed compared with those before therapy both in the treatment group and control group.Conclusion The integrated therapy of mifepristone and jianfuwan for perimenopausal patients with dysfuncaltional uterine bleeding is effective with less recurrence rate.
