Abstract

OBJECTIVE To explore the distribution and drug resistance of Candida in lower respiratory tract of senile patients,to provide theory for drug application in clinics.METHODS Identification for 84 strains of fungal isolates were performed by chromanar medium. The analysis of sensibility to antifungal agents was conducted by ATB FUNGUS 2 INT.RESULTS Candida albicans was the most common strain among 84 stains isolated from lower respiratory tract, accouting for 64.3%,next C.glabrata(12 strains),accounting for 14.3%,Candida was sensitive to amphotericin B with the sensitivity rate of 92.8% and fluorouracil with 91.6%.CONCLUSION The sensibility of Candida to antifungal agents is decreasing, the detection to Candida and the sensitivity test should be strengthened.
