Abstract
Adipic acid was synthesized under Ultrasonic irradiation using cyclohexanol and potassium permanganate. The effect of materials ratio, alkalinity or acidity of reagent, reaction temperature, reaction time and post-treatement on the yield of adipic acid was studied. The yield of adipic acid reached 85percent when the amount of cycloheranol,potassium-permanganate were 2.6 milliliter,15g,respectively,the reaction temperature was 75℃and the reaction time was 40minute.The yield of this method was higher than in ordinary method (60%~70%).This is a feasible and green chemical process to synthesize adipic acid.
