The Founder of Gongyang-studies in Qing Dynasty

Writing the book Chunqiu Gongyangjing Heshi Shili,and continuing the Gongyang thoughts of Dong Zhongshu and He Xiu,Liu Fenglu summarized the Gongyang routines systematically and restarted the controversy between the studies of Confucian Classics of current and ancient Chinese Character,thus promoting the Present Characters Confucianism focused by Gongyang-studies as the academic mainstream in late Qing Dynasty.His summarization and interpretation of Gongyang-studies laid the base for Gongyang-studies in Qing Dynasty.Besides,his probe into the theory of transform and system reform of Gongyang-studies established the direction of the development of Gongyang-studies in Qing Dynasty.
