Abstract

In order to extract the active substances from grape seeds at a low cost, the integrated extraction of active substances, proanthocyanidins, grape seed oil and resveratrol,in grape seeds by using organic solvent were studied in this experiment. The results showed that the extracting rates of proanthocyanidins were not significantly different among the six extracting combinations, which were 163.196~164.740mg/g.The highest extracting rate(231.047 mg/g)of grape seed oil was obtained from combination F,which was performed as grape seed oil(extracted with petroleum ether for two times at 55 ℃ and 30 min of each time, the ratio of material to liquid was 1∶10)→resveratrol(extracted with ethyl acetate for two times at 30℃and 3hof each time, the ratio of material to liquid was 1∶10)→proanthocyanidins(extracted with 70% alcohol for two times at 50℃and 1hof each time, the ratio of material to liquid was 1∶10).The highest extracting rate(39.13μg/g)of resveratrol was obtained from combination E,which showed same extracting parameters as combination F,performed as grape seed oil→proanthocyanidins→resveratrol, while the difference was not significant compared with combination F.In addition, the pigment content was much higher in resveratrol concentrates for combination F,which led to the difficulty on subsequent decolorization and purification.Considering the extracting rates of the three active substances and the subsequent purification process, combination F showed the best performance at the extracting order of grape seed oil→resveratrol→proanthocyanidins.
