Exchanges between Liang Qichao and Liang Shuming and the Connection between their Academic Thought

Liang Shuming was influenced by Liang Qichao in his early years but their association only began in 1920.The emergence of Liang Shuming's father's book Fu Luan Lu in 1925 deepened the sentiments between the two as disciple and mentor.Their academic connection was embodied in their appreciation of Bergson's philosophy of life,common views on Chinese and Western culture and the advocacy of the study of the mind.Liang Shuming held Liang Qichao in high estimation,but did not hide his shortcomings,which is conducive to a comprehensive understanding of Liang Qichao.
