Experimental Study of Nourishing Yin,Invigorating Qi,Promoting Blood Circulation and Draining Collateral Method to DM Rats' Islet Protective Function

Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of nourishing Yin,invigorating Qi,promoting blood circulation and draining collateral method on levels of Insulin,C-peptide,SOD,and MDA in DM rats and to discuss the mechanism of the method to DM rats islet function.Methods:50 Wistar rats were randomly divided into 5 different groups: normal group,model group,gliclazide group,high dose TCM group,low dose TCM group.STZ 60mg/kg The DM rats models,compared with gliclazide,observed the levels of insulin,C-peptide,SOD and MDA in model rats.Results:Nourishing Yin,invigorating Qi,promoting blood circulation and draining collateral method can reduce the levels of BG and GSP,improve the levels of Insulin and C-peptide in model rats,Compared with control group,there were no statistics significance(P0.05),the effect of SOD and MDA in DM rats was better than control group obviously(P0.05),and the curative effect of the high dose TCM was better than the low dose TCM(P0.01).Conclusions:Nourishing Yin,invigorating Qi,promoting blood circulation and draining collateral method protect the DM rats islet B cells function by antioxidation maybe.
