Hepatic Functional Protection of Tiopronin Applied During Perioperative Period in Liver Tumor Patients

Objective To compare the hepatic functional protection of Tiopronin and Heperz applied during preoperative period in the patients with liver tumor.Methods Sixty-eight patients with resectable liver tumor were randomized into two different treatment groups to improve the liver function: Tipronin(n=35) group and Heperz(n=33) group.The efficacy of hepatic functional protection was compared between two groups.Results The general condition,liver and kidney function,immunity function was no significant difference before operative in two groups.The patients were treated to improve the liver function during preoperative period,the levels of AST(46.03±19.52) U/L and TBIL(8.99±3.50) mg/L in the group of Heperz were significantly lower than the levels of AST(54.74±34.92) U/L和TBIL(11.79±12.79) mg/L(PAST0.05,PTBIL0.05) in the Tipronin group after operation in 10 days,but other indicators of liver and kidney function,immunity function have a postoperative recovery well and no difference in two groups.Conclusion Tipronin has definite treatment effect and safety profile as Heperz.Tipronin is a drug for liver function protection that is worth promoting applied during perioperative period in the patients with liver tumor.
