Study on land use and its driving forces in Fuzhou City

This paper analyzed land use changing situation of Fuzhou from the change of land use quantity and degree, and used principal component method to confirm the land use influencing factors of Fuzhou. The study result showed: resident land, land use for industry and mine, and traffic construction land had the greatest increasing degree, while cultivated area, useless land area reduced most sharply, the increase of construction land was mainly from the transformation of the cultivated area; the area of forest land slightly rose, and ecological environment constructions of Fuzhou made better results; with the improvement of the social economic level, the output value of the unit land improved, the land use degree intensified; the change of population increasing, urbanization, economy development, land use policy was the main force of influencing the change of Fuzhou land use.
