Postoperative psychological intervention for patients with lumbar disc herniation

Objective To investigate the effects on efficacy of postoperative psychological intervention for patients with lumbar disc herniation.Methods A total of 62 patients with lumbar disc herniation after the treatment of operation were randomly divided into experimental and control group,each group of 31 cases.Experimental group were adopted Routine nursing care and psychological intervention,while the control group were adopted conventional care.Nursing,treatment,diet and exercise were not doing the standard requirements.Results The experimental group was higher than control group on knowledge of disease,medical compliance behavior,and satisfaction and treatment effects after psychological intervention.Conclusion Psychological intervention can significantly alleviate the postoperative anxiety and depression symptoms and improve the patient's awareness of the disease,reduce the incidence of complications,improve the quality of life.
