Observation on the roles of nursing intervention on the life quality in patients with hemodialysis

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore nursing intervention on the quality of life in patients with hemodialysis.METHODS Eighty patients with hemodialysis were invited in perception intervention,mental intervention,threpsis intervention,family intervention and athletics intervention.Before and after intervention,they were evaluated for health status by using Short Form 36 Health survey Questionnaire(SF-36),self nursing ability by using The Exercise of Self-Care Agency Scale(ESCA),and for mental health status by using Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS).RESULTS After nursing intervention,the qualities of life and self nursing ability in patients were increased,and their SAS and SDS scores were decreased.CONCLUSION Nursing intervention can improve the quality of life in patients with hemodialysis,which should be suggested in clinical experiences.
