Influence of nursing intervention by promoting self-efficiency on mental state of maintenance hemodialysis patients

Abstract
Objective To investigate the influence of nursing intervention by promoting self-efficiency on mental state of maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods We applied nursing intervention by promoting self-efficiency to 43 patients who had undergone hemodialysis for at least three months. Four kinds of mental symptom assessment scale was used to assess patients'anxiety and depression state at baseline and after 6 months respectively. Results According to paired t-test,scores of anxiety and depression state were significantly improved after Nursing intervention( P 0. 05). Conclusion Nursing intervention by promoting self-efficiency is capable of improving mental state of maintenance hemodialysis patients effectively.
