Inheritance and Development of Zhu Xi Lixue by New Lixue

Feng Youlan inherits the li zai shi xian(reason preceding matter) thinking model of Zhu Xi Lixue(a Confucian school of idealist philosophy) of ontological principles,moral principles and integration of heaven and human-kind on one hand,and remolds it on the other hand.He explains,remolds and proves it with western philosophical ideology,combines the representative doctrines in(China's) philosophical history into the discussion of Lixue,employs logical analysis to expound and prove Zhu(Xi's) basic view-points,and thus establishes a New Lixue system.
