Abstract

Zhu Xi epitomizes the achievements of Lixue(a Confucian school of idealist philosophy) and Jingxue(a study of Confucian classics) in the Song Dynasty and,in the form of explaining Confucian classics,expounds,proves and develops the theories of heavenly principles,generalization of rational knowledge through studying the whys and wherefores of things and disposition,which results in innovation and development of both Lixue and Jingxue.The characteristics of Zhu Xi Lixue fully embody the characteristics of his Jingxue ideology,which is different from Lu's and Wang's philosophy of mind.
