Abstract
Objective To study the situation of intestinal parasitic infection in the South Shansxi province. Method Examination of the excrement anus scaping were performed on randomly chosen villages. Results 3817 peoples were exmined, among them 775 were positive with the infection rate of 20.3%. There were 9 species intestinal parasites were found in the area. The infection rate of important intestinal parasites were roundworm(3.1%), hookworm(1.2%), and pinworm(29.45%). Conclusion The intestinal parasitic infection are important diseases in the area.
