Abstract

Bentonite is modified by macromolecular flocculant PDMDAAC and sulfuric acid. The treat capacity to fluoride-containing wastewater is researched by modified bentonite under different conditions. The result shows that when the removal ratio of fluoride by modified bentonite can reach 97% under the following conditions. The dosage of modified bentonite is 30 g·L-1,pH4,reaction temperature is 25 ℃,the adsorption time is 25 min.and the concentration of fluoride in the treated wastewater reduced from 100 to 3.0 mg·L-1,which is up to the nation first-degree standard.
