Abstract

On the basis of analysing the realistic condition of tourism development in the city of Ortos, Inner Mongolia, the authors make the analysis of the comparative superiority and inferiority and developing opportunity and competitive threat (SWOT) in the city of Ortos in particular, and come up with the ways to realize the target of Ortos tourism development, thinking that constructing new tourism system, enforcing the environmental construction, carrying out the project by the tourist treasures promoting tourism and improving the quality of human power resources are the road to sustained and healthy development.
