Abstract
Effect of solution treatment and deformation-aging on the microstructures and mechanical properties of Al-Cu-Li-Sc-Zr alloy was investigated by observation of microstructures and tensile test at room temperature. The results show that increasing solution temperature or solution time properly will improves the strength, plasticity of the alloy. The pre-deformation makes T1 precipitation distribute more dispersively and homegenously and greatly improve tensile properties of the alloy. But too much stretch induce T1 particle to coarsen and result in decrease of mechanical properties of alloy.A better solution treatment is 530℃ 1 h.The favorable predeformation is about 3.5% under the experiment condition.
