Abstract

Objective To study the expression of E2F-1 and eIF-4E in human colorectal adenocarcinoma and its significance. Methods The immunohistochemical SP method were detected 78 cases of colorectal adenocarcinoma,20 cases of normal colorectal mucosa and 30 cases of colorectal adenoma with E2F-1 and eIF-4E.Results The positive expression rate of E2F-1 and eIF-4E in esophageal carcinoma was much higher than that in colorectal mucosa, colorectal polyps, colorectal adenoma(P0.05).The expression of E2F-1 and eIF-4E was closely correlated with the differentiation,TNM and lymph nodes metastasis(P0.05).Conclusion E2F-1 and eIF-4E is closely related to the colorectal adenocarcinoma occurrence. Both of them are important biological markers in colorectal adenocarcinoma occurrence and development.
