Precaution against risk of alien invasive species for ensuring ecological security

In the wake of the gradual expansion of international trade and exchange,alien species invasion rate has been greatly increasing.Corresponding,the intrusion of alien species has posed a great threat to the diversity of living things worldwide and it has affected ecological security badly.Therefore,the intrusion of alien species has been attached more and more importance to all over of world.In China,along with the influence of world economy and trade development with high speed,the invasion of alien species has constituted enormous threat to biodiversity and ecological security.In the meantime,the alien species invasion has resulted in grave economic losses and ecosystem obstruction.For the protection of ecological environment and biodiversity,the guarantee of the ecological security and the maintenance of sustainable development,it is very urgent and essential to prevent and control alien species.This paper analyzes the characteristic and the invasive way of alien species in China,studies the damage caused by them,and discusses prevention and integrated control strategies,which provide an insight to assist with the design of effective politics.
