Abstract

The invasion of alien species has constituted enormous threat to bio-diversity and ecological security of our country. For the protection of ecological environment and bio-diversity, guarantee of the ecological security of our country and realization of the sustainable utilization of species resources, it is very urgent and essential to set up the perfect legal system to control alien species. But there are lots of questions in our current laws of preventing alien species from invasion, which have not fully included the relevant contents that invading species destroy bio-diversity or ecological environment, still differing greatly with the goal of controlling alien species in terms of bio-diversity protection. On the basis of summarizing the national conditions about alien species of our country and under the guidance of legislative principle, our country should combine the existing legal provisions to setting up the legal system that prevent alien species from invading.
