Abstract
RBsAg Pre-S1 (21-47) mediates the attachment of HBV to human hepatocytes.A peptide corresponding to the RBsAg pre-S1 (20-47) of subtype adr was synthesized by the conventional solid phase method. Polyclonal antibodies, induced by the peptide-BSA conjugates in rabbit, were purified by affinity chromatography. The affinity-purified polyclonal antibodies, which have high purity, activity and specificity, has been successfully used in detecting natural pre-S1 antigens in the serum of patients and the recombinant fused HBsAg vaccines containing pre-S1 antigen.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
