On the Deeds,Works,and Thoughts of Hu Ying,Materialistic Jurist of Song Dynasty

Hu Ying was the famous materialistic thinker,scholar and jurist of Southern Song Dynasty of China.However,little researches have been made on him in the academic circles.He once assumed offices as the important administrative officer of the local government all levels.He accumulated most rich experience on administration and judicial trial;therefore,he formed systemic politics and law thoughts of his own.His primary law thoughts are incarnated by judicatory cases he tried and composed.These cases were kept in a book compiled by a man of Song Dynasty called Clear and Just Law Cases Collected by Famous Officials.The administrative and judicatory deeds of Hu Ying show that due importance should be attached to him in Chinese atheistic history and law.
