Abstract

HU Yuan is a famous thinker and educator in Song Dynasty.He is not only righteous pioneer but also the third one of Mr.Song.Because HU Yuan was diligent self-motivated and rigorous scholarship,he could be learned in books by social reality.His science thought had played a huge role for promoting revolution and development of Confucianism.HU Yuan attached great importance to function of university education.Advocating to learn in order to practice,he first proposed teaching division,which in Chinese history of education have extremely important status.HU Yuan was indifferent to fame and wealth,committing to education,seeking truth and keening on Innovation.We moved and affected by his noble personality,so we called himthe first Confucian scholars,mr.Hu.
