Experiences of diagnosis and treatment of 53 cases with severe thoracic trauma

Objective To explore the diagnosis and treatment of severe thoracic trauma and complicated traumas.Method The injury conditions and the treatment measures in 53 cases of thoracic trauma were analyzed retrospectively.Results For 50 cases were cured,while 3 cases died (2 cases died from hemorrhagic shock,1 case died from acute renal failure).Conclusion The thoracic trauma and complicated trauma should be diagnosed early and treated immediately.Effective counter shock treatment,early operation,protection of visceral functions may be the important measures to guarantee the success of treatment of the thoracic trauma with multiple organ injury.
