Comment on Liu Chang

Liu Chang was a famous cultural person in the Song Dynasty.His ancestral home was in Xinyu and he was born into the government official's family.He had broad knowledge.He was upright and honest and was outspoken and dared to make remonstrances,thus being appreciated by emperors and the imperial court officials.He was clean and did everything for the interest of the people,thus being respected and loved by the people.He made great achievements in the Confucian studies,especially in the Spring and Autumn.He changed the traditional way of studying the Confucian classics and brought about new thoughts and new aspects for the Confucian studies.
