Abstract
It still always worth reconsidering about the background for the formation of Zheng Xuan's Synthetic School of Confucian Classics. It is still a prevailing opinion that the Scholars of New Confucian Classics in late Qing Dynasty had made some claims that the studies of Confucian Classics of East Power and West Power Han Dynasty had been contrary to each other till Zheng Xuan's time.In fact there was no such a deep rift in study of the New and Old Confucian Classics in Han Dynasty. The mingling of schools was a great trend that had been acclaimed by some scholars before. But it can't be overlooked that the real and important reason of the mingling is authority's guide since Wang Mang's power. It is the guide of the imperial government that makes Confucian Classics be a theory of politic reign.
