The expression and significance of FAS in the preeclampsia placenta

Objective:Detection of expression of FAS in placenta explores the preeclampsia placenta.Methods:Immunohistochemical staining method with pathological image analysis technology analyze expression of FAS in 10 cases of normal pregnancy group,17 patients with mild preeclampsia and 13 patients with severe preeclampsia placentas.Results:expression of FAS mainly lies in placental trophoblast cells' membrane and the cytoplasm.With the normal pregnancy,expression of FAS in placentas increased significantly in mild and severe preeclampsia placenta groups,so the difference was significant.Conclusion:increase of the expression of FAS in preeclampsia trophoblast cells is the pathogenesis of preeclampsia so as to provide a new direction in the clinical treatment of preeclampsia.
