Abstract
The Theory of Multiple Intelligences,first advanced by American psychologist,Dr.Howard Gardner,is a severe challenge to the traditional theories of intelligence.This theory is of great significance in the way of stimulating the students' potentialities and developing their multiple intelligences systematically,which in turn will result in the improvement in the quality of college English teaching and the students' overall qualities.
