The Theory of Multiple Intelligences and Diversified College English Teaching Models

The Theory of Multiple Intelligences was first put forward by Howard Gardner in 1983.This theory emphasizes that hu-man intelligence is a multiple and dynamic system.Each intelligence,which is independent but related to each other,should be re-spected,trained and developed.The Theory of Multiple Intelligences is consistent with diversified and individualized teaching mod-el of College English.Under the guidance of The Theory of Multiple Intelligences,this paper attempts to develop students' multi-ple intelligences rationally,improve students' language abilities comprehensively,and make quality-oriented education becometrue.
