Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of Mycobacterium bovis and inhaled Salbutamol on lung function of patient with asthma by intramuscular injection. Methods: Patient with asthma were treated with Mycobacterium bovis and inhaled Salbutamol by in-tramuscular injection for 12 weeks during an asthmatic attack. The lung function of patients was detected, asthma attacks were observed before and after treatment. Results: The asthma attacks were decreased and clinical scorings were depressed after the treatment, however, no serious adverse event had been observed in clinical trials except one case of fever. Conclusions: Intramuscular injected Mycobacterium bovis and inhaled Salbutamol is effective and safe for asthma.
